If you’ve followed my eBay series, you know that I supplement my income by purchasing items to sell on eBay. Today, I want to give you an example of an item that you might not recognize as being a Hot Seller!
On a whim, I picked up a few Vintage Sewing Patterns. They looked old and were marked with Vogue Couture which led me to believe they might be worth something. The patterns were cut, but appeared to be fully intact along with the original booklet. The design on the cover looked pretty timeless and classic so my guess is that someone could probably use it still today. For only .25 a piece, I figured I couldn’t go wrong.
I scanned the images on my scanner and did a little research to see what the going rate was for similar patterns. I decided to start my auctions at $9.99 and let it run for 7 days. When it was all said & done, my .75 investment ended up bringing in $75!
